Dept of transport are reviewing the basic training of Motorcyclists and apparently would like our views

I agree.


A guy I work with trashed his Subaru recently.

He admits its FAR to powerful for him.


Another mate, I wont get in the car with, because he chucks his Audi about 'like its on rails'. :S


And they say I'm mad for plodding about the countryside on 2 wheels....

Let 15 year olds have 100cc mopeds, L plates but no passengers. After a few years we would have a new bunch of car divers who appreciate and are aware of two wheel users and how vulnerable they can be.

When I suggested we should be like France and let 14 year olds ride 50's I was laughed off the forum. Everyone said there was no way they'd let their irresponsible 14 year old on a bike.

Oddly, at the time, no one suggested they should have ingrained some responsibility into their kids before they turned teenage.

Spot on, that is one of the reasons drivers in France are so savvy about bikes...
