Would you spend the cash........

Post by Rangoonruns »

I bought my dog off an Aussie vet who was working in the uk.
I asked why he was in the uk as I was thinking of emigrating at the time
He replied there is no money to be made in rural oz as a vet
Someone walks in with a dog, vet says it needs £100 pounds worth of whatever, man says nah just put it down ! that cost £60 nah I will do it myself!

Don't know how realistic this actually is but it made me realise just how much we love our family pets

God save the goldfish

Yes they have elbows just like us on their front legs.

I've been in this predicament myself, our goldfish kept having epileptic fits, luckily no medical treatment needed, the vet just advised I kept him in his bowl  .

we kill 2 million cows, 8 million pigs, 9 million sheep/lambs, and 750 million birds every year in the UK....just to keep some perspective

i'm not a vegetarian....but it does seem odd to say we are animal lovers....most animals have a personality if allowed to....even cows and sheep

In reality they wouldn't have been born if we didn't eat them.
They're food not pets.
