The M5 between juntion 20 and 19 is so bad at the moment you need to weave between lanes to avoid buckling your wheels (every other person on the road is doing the same), very reminiscent of the high atlas mountains in Marocco, but at least they've got the excuse of cold weather, not just no money as in the UK.

Truly shocking.

Take care any of you travelling that way, especially at night, some of the holes are enormous.

We're in the Eden Valley and while the main roads aren't too bad some of the minor roads are getting to be gravel tracks. There's one bit just near me that has nearly a foot of gravel on one corner. Cars are scraping it all the time.
