R.I.P. Dave Greenfield of The Stranglers. I've seen them about 4 times over the years (including a great gig here in Limoges, unbelievably). It was Greenfield's keyboard work that separated the Stranglers from other punk/post-punk bands.

I was never really a fan of electronica but Kraftwerk were a cut above the rest. RIP Florian Schneider.

Kraftwerk are kind of one of my secret pleasures too. Sadly I can't listen to them now without thinking of Bill Bailey's 'tribute', which I still find hilarious...
