That's another favourite of mine, Ian. Lovely song. It's on my big 'chill out' spotify list. And so is this:

Yeah, that's a lovely song Dave.

Apparently Nick was quite heavily influenced by Donovan.

Fun fact: Graham Nash went on to become an acclaimed photographer, was instrumental in the development of early digital photo printing, and co-founded Nash Editions, a fine art digital printing company. Nash Editions: Photography and the Art of Digital Printmaking is well worth a read if you're into photography.

Well I didn't know that.

The close harmony on that track is as good or better than anything by Simon and Garfunkle, Mamas&Papas etc. Fantastic and effortless, like one voice split in three.

Bit different, but still good harmony work - I came across these three recently:

Nice. JJ and Baz sounding good there. I saw them in 2000 and again in Limoges, believe it or not, about 6 years ago.

I might try to see them on the final tour next year.

Yeah, I really want to see them again on the final tour. Interestingly, JJ had an interview quite recently and said they would still be playing after the final tour, but with one-offs at smaller venues. He also mentioned he was having a relatively good Covid period in the S of France, regularly taking his bikes around the Alpine foothills.
