One of my favourite album covers. Great band, seen them several times over the decades.

Well I've done Minstrel In The Gallery, Aqualung (twice) and Thick as a Brick today. Great stuff. I am all tulled out.
But I never went to see them live. Stupid really, I had the chance. Jut didn't get round to it.
They must join that list of bands I should have seen but didn't.

My favourite band and saw them well over 30 times, including at The Isle of Wight Festival back in the day.
To round off your Tull Fest, here's a lovely version of a lovely I.A. song :

Yeah, great song. I love the way he splits notes into complex little triplets and trills, whether singing or fluting. And the band's musicianship is outstanding. Which year were you at the Isle of Wight festival, Ian? Don't want to age you prematurely if I'm wrong, but you weren't there for Hendrix in 1970 were you? I think I'd sell an organ or two to be time-machined back to that gig. I was 4 !

Hitchhiked down from Leeds as a 17 year old hippy, with my sleeping bag and black bin liner, couldn't afford a tent !
Tull were the best band of the festival, for me.
Happy days

Nice cover from Elbow:
Glen Campbell not my kind of stuff really, but I've always loved this song.
