That can't be right, it has to be fit for purpose, especially with the tyre rubbing, can you not return it and get a refund?

If its any consolation the full system I fitted to the XTR was a bit of a faff to get right and it has a similar shaped dent. That looks like it had no lacquer?

That's ridiculous, I'd be straight back to where it came from it really shouldn't be corroding. l suppose the only good thing about the rear wheel touching is that it rubs the rust off.

Take it back and if they refuse to replace it get straight down to trading standards.

I bought a Remus Revolution alloy exhaust can for my Tiger.... mine was pitted and looked a right state within a few months, i was constantly using Autosol trying to keep the corrsion at bay. At least i never had any part of the bike making contact with it.
The moral of the story is not to buy alloy exhaust cans and stick to stainless or carbon.

I have a stainless one on my AT, still rusty..! Rang Remus, oh that shouldn't happen we will look into it! Many phone calls and 18 months later still nothing, decided its too noisy now as well so maybe change it in the spring, I won't buy Remus ever again.
