Where are they??
Ive been venturing out around the Yorkshire dales area more lately and I found a few nice little places to stop off for a brew and to demolish a slice of carrot cake just to get out of the saddle for a while and stretch the old legs.I was just curious as to what other little secret refreshment stations are discreetly tucked away around these parts that im unaware of that maybe other fellow adventurers are indulging in and would perhaps like to share with me,so where are these little sweet spots lads and lasses.

Whatever you do avoid Malham like the plague.
Just had a bimble over there from Settle and whilst lovely going over the top and down past Malham Cove the village itself was absolutely snied to the gunnels to the point of using fields for overflow carparks.
Glad i just kept going and stopped for a break just down the road in Kirkby Malham by the river. Take your own brew kit and food.

Re: Your Favourite Yorkshire Tea Haunts
I took a quick blast up the M6 to have a couple of days ride in the Yorkshire Dales recently. On day 2, a Friday in May at 2pm and went to the renowned Penny Garth cafe. A well known spot for bikers to call at. It was closed with no opening times displayed. Oh well plenty of other cafes available as i said to all the other bikers who arrived while i was puzzling over this closure. Shan't bother planning to visit there again.........
