Anyone up for the Taffy Dakar - Mayday Bank holiday weekend..?

Info on biker meeting places such as Box Hill,Poole Quay, etc. Please start each post with the county followed by the place in the subject box i.e. Warwickshire - The Waterman. It'll make things a lot easier to follow.

Who's up for this one - www.taffydakar.co.uk - same weekend as the Touratech Travel event and just down the road..?

i Would have done but my bike dont fit in any of the catagories

In order to enter you need to meet the following criteria :-
•You must have a two wheeled motorcycle :)
•The motorcycle must be either :- ◦600cc or more or :(
◦a Honda C50 or C90
:(
Have trail bike written on category on V5 log book
:(

•Must have valid tax :)
•Must have valid MOT :)
•Must have valid insurance :)

•Must not have loud pipes :)
•Must have Body Armour and protective clothing :laugh:
•Must be in teams of two or three

Too late for this year, but would be interested in building a team for next year :laugh:

They don't need trail bike written on the v5. Just needs to be a bike trail bike. Think its more about orienteering and finding points without a GPS.

That's the point exactly.

I was booked in for it but had to withdraw. Doing the rider rally in ireland the week after.

Basically it is meant for large trail bikes or novice riders on small TRAIL bikes.
This will be you last 2 weeks to get entry's in if you want a T-Shirt as orders will be placed on 22nd, you can still enter on the day but you may be out of luckwith goodies.

Yeah I'm just brushing up my map reading basics on YouTube and compass skills. Going out next weekend to have a trial run in local area. Don't fancy getting completely lost. Even though that's half the fun.

arent you thinking in getting a 350 or 400cc when you pass your test??
if so you wont get in m8
If it doesnt have dirt on it, its because you're not riding it hard enough
