Yeah Vic, my biggest reservation is that if 40 persons turn up, where do they go?
There has always been space at Cropton and the fire is always welcome.

Hi Steve,

Yep, please put my name down for this again. Thanks for organising!

Well, 600 plus views, but not many replies!

If this event is to go ahead I need to know if the collective wish to change the venue or go back to Cropton. I need to confirm with Cropton if this is the case.

I gave the other site a fair and unbiased review in my opinion and would certainly go there for a smaller meet. I cannot limit numbers as I do not know of future numbers who will turn up.

Might I suggest that we use Cropton again this year and if another suitable site can be recommended then we move next year.

Time is running out and I need to make arrangements with Cropton as per previous years.

If you do read this thread please leave comments..

Cheers Steve

675 views now and little feedback.

It was suggested that an alternative site be used. Someone said that they would check it out. To my knowledge that has not happened.

I checked out the 'Alternative' site. See my review in an earlier reply. There isn't enough space, end of story.

By the end of this week I will again be in touch with the Pub at Cropton to see if we can still book the camp site. If this is still available I will book it.
If it isn't then suggestions on a postcard, as they say.
If no more persons from this site are interested then I will still go ahead with this event but promote it with other groups that I socialise with.

The response this year is not as enthusiastic as I would have expected bearing in mind that so many have been cooped up for so long.

Some feedback would be appreciated.

Hi Steve, Scoob here.

I've attended this meet in the past on the off road side and as others have said, if it's always worked for you previously then I'm sure it will again.

I've only just spotted this thread so i can't say for certain until i check the calendar but I'd like to come and join you. I only live five minutes up the road. I'd be up for the rideouts definitely.

Cheers
