Anyone done any of these, they look good, bit expensive for me though.

Re: Dirty French Stuff
The French events of any size with motorbikes are epic and welcome all nationality lots of banter, food and alcohol... French hospitality at its best... Expensive by UK prices but the memories will last a lifetime..
On a different tact the gpx routes are usually on wikiloc.... But being organised events they will cross private land like most Rando events do... I bumped into some riders. In the north of France this year while out on my mountain bike... They just shouted and waved.... Cest la Vie.

Yeah, Phil's your man. And when you're fed up with the riding, he takes poetry classes and does ballet instruction in the evening. What a guy.

Re: Dirty French Stuff
Hey PIF, HiJaked my post with your sales pitch. Only kidding.
A couple of years ago I was down your way, and did ring and spoke to your wife with a view of maybe stopping by (dont remember when or where I was going) but the line was really bad and ended up just passing by. next time will make more effort. Most of your "promo"pics are of little bikes and I know from experience the Region has plenty of slopes, but I guess there is good stuff for the big bikes too, winging it solo as I do usually, I have to be a little bit cautious in the hills. One day we will speak again, we have done so at the Midlands rally 3 years ago, but being the grey man on a grey bike even if it had orange blood, I doubt that you remember. To Another time. Paul.

As others have said, give Phil a bell, great place to ride, and the hospitality is second to none.

Re: Dirty French Stuff
Paul, there's plenty of riding to be had at Jax on bigger bikes. I done lots with him on the donkeys (DR650) and most of it I'd attempt on my T700. You sound like you know what you're doing on your GS so I reckon you'd love it, even the tarmac roads are ace.bikenav wrote: ↑Mon Nov 16, 2020 6:50 pm Hey PIF, HiJaked my post with your sales pitch. I will be on my way down there again as soon as this covid malarkey is sorted, It's one of the best areas I've ridden in.
