Brilliant news Steve. Unless something unforeseen happens you can put me and Boydy down for the weekend.

Re: Ecky Thump 2020. On or not?
I am afraid that this is official notification that the Ecky Thump rally is cancelled.
I have been in touch with the landlady at the pub today and she has said that the campfield will still be open and social distancing is in place in the pub, but we cannot have a bigger group than 6 as an organised group camping. I did question that what if different groups of 6 turned up, again we would be on dodgy ground.
The landlady is relatively new and would not want to aggrivate the locals.
An official meet cannot be arranged but if a smaller group wanted to meet (6 or less) then I cannot see a problem.
As I have organised this event and it is quite well documented, I could be liable to a fine for knowingly doing so.
I would like to personally apologise to those of you who may have booked time off from work, but hope that it is not too late to make other arrangements.
Like others I was looking forward to this meet as in past years it has been successful, good fun and raised money for the Air Ambulance.
Here's hoping to meet in a field somewhere, sometime.
