If I was doing something like this .. I would provide a large general tent, or covered area, .. with fire or stove, with tin roof or summat.
A hose pipe with sink or run-off, with shelf for soap, or spray or wipes.
for hands and for washing supermarket tins etc.
A dig out hole and planks for toilet, with cabinet or wash shelf, and toil roll. with separate hose pipe, etc.
Marked out plots for tents.
Disinfected benches, around bbq area.
Distancing marked out.
Wind directions noted.
No one allowed in house.
Newcomers seen to wash hands, wear masks or whatever.
All new items, like cans, to be washed on entry to site.

Sounds onerous and fun spoiling bit easily adhered to once everyone knows what to do .
No postcode given out except by PM.

Yeah, Steve - listen to Gary. He also wants a bed cover turn-down service, a white swan fashioned from towels for each camper, and a little sweet on every pillow. It's the least you can do...

The goverment are due to make a statement on 28th May. There Could be a relaxation of the lock down rules.
My kids have been giving me some grief about a load of old men drinking beer, eating burgers and camping here!
I suppose we are at best stretching and bending the rules as they stand if we proceed.....mostly because I'm suggesting it's an overnight camp.
Some of the restrictions associated with Covid-19 seem a little confusing....well to me anyway.
We'd probably be within the rules if we observed social distancing and then all went home. But, that's not the same as an overnight camp.
So, reluctantly I'm going to wait and see what happens on 28th May.
I'm still going to organise this.....and if unexpectedly on 28th May, this type of thing becomes acceptable, then the earliest practical date would be 6th June.
So let's see what happens in the near future and we'll keep within the rules.

Good proposal. There’s no point in stressing your family out over it.

I’ll certainly be up for it when the date is set.

A wise decision!!!.... At least your kids understand the rules, it's hardly confusing!

I’m glad you have backed away for a bit as I didn’t want to be a boring preacher.
The tautness of your stretch of the rules could have let you walk across Niagara Falls but the local aggravation you would get would likely be huge.
