High John--I was persuaded to go to the Dragon this year with a few mates--Friday was fine in the YHA at Conwy, Saturday started ok--but went downhill with storm Ciara--camping in a sloping field which turned into a sea of mud--at the end of a farm track---it was an experience--my tent survived--just--lots didn't, and unless you were skilled, lucky or had a two wheel drive Ural getting out was nearly impossible! I'm hoping that the weather next month will be a bit better!

we were at the overland winter warmer ,, only 250 and the playing field was not muddy ,
we had the wind and a few tents went down ,, but we were OK
see you in a few weeks

that was fully booked I understand--were there some no shows?--I know some people turned up at the Dragon, saw the conditions , collected their badges and went home--cheats! Anyway , this video has surfaced--thats North Wales on a hillside for you!!

Hi John, breakfast for agg(skinny),mikektm, yamten +2 please, how exposed are we? ie. Small cozy windproof tent or larger not so stable comfy tent. Cheers
