I’m gonna change that to I’ll have to get up too early to get over there so will give it a miss this time.
It would be nice if you can share your easy lane knowledge

Greetings Rob,

I don't know what kind of bike you ride nor your abilities but I have posted 2 rides/gpx on the ViewRanger website starting out from Castleton. They may or may not be of use but feel free to use them or modify as bests suits you. I always recommend for safety that folks do not ride alone.

I use a picture of Muffin the Mule as an avatar on that site, it is a long story why :!:

Once you find them you should be able to find other routes that I have posted.

TTFN

Hugh.

Ps you may see numbered riders out tomorrow as the Edinburgh Trial is running. The actual routes are not open to public traffic but if you park carefully nearby you should be able to walk over to watch.

We use your Tissington Big Bike Route from ViewRanger! Cracking Route, that's what we'll be on tomorrow starting from Buxton. We always run out of time to do the last bit so trying that first and mixing some of the other trails in!

Thanks for sharing the route!

Thanks for the help with the routes Hugh.
I have a tiger 800 XCx and I’d say my off road skill level is amateur but confident.

Robzulu80. As my Hippo riding friend has mentioned most of our route tomorrow is one of Hughes route's.
The only bit that's a bit tricky on a big bike is the last lane near the finish at Asbourne and the one on the Chatsworth estate can be tricky if wet.
I'd be happy to take you round in a couple of weeks time, maybe start up near Sheffield end.
Enjoy your ride tomorrow

I am just down the road from you at m1 j29.

Just got myself a CRF250L for a bit of trail riding. Be good to catch up if you know local trails.
