thankyou Mario

see your more popular than you thought great turnout this year over 40 attending ,

as tio me well i arrived home at 1am this morning 17hours ,, the AA were brilliant but the Western recovery were useless

they didn't have the gear to recover bike and took 6hours to sort the last 50 mms ,

home safe now and will sort the charging problem

Yeah John, well attended and all seemed to have a good time.

Pleased you got home eventually. The weather didn't turn really bad and I left the site last in a clean condition, thanks to all who kept it clean.
Two really brilliant nights round the fire and only about a bag of wood left.

Again its the same old story, you can organise an event BUT its the people that come that make the event successful............and they certainly did this year.
Thanks to all who came for making it a great weekend and last minute camp fees mean that I can donate on your behalf £120 to Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

i think there was around a 50-50 split between Harleys and Adventure boys ,

i think this must be a real unusual mix but everyone got on as they should do .

thanks again Steve i know its not a hard job but harder to find anyone willing to do it ,,your a good man :o

see you very soon

just to inform those that want to know

the problem with the BMW R8GS was the rotor ,,,, a common fault it seems ,

parts are ordered should be fixed by the weekend

Shame I couldn't make it--looks like you missed most of the weekend rain. Just curious on the R80 GS--did the charge light not show a fault (i.e. stay red)? On our earlier G/S it works but takes a good blip to get it showing a charge i.e. to go out.

there was no charging but as you say the light never showed that it wasn't ,,
parts are now ordered i will fit the up rated police regulator and the new type diode board
and of course the rotor

also key to make sure the charging light is red with ignition on--could be just the bulb--and somewhere in the recesses of my brain cell I think if that circuit isn't complete through the charging light then the field windings are not activated and the generator doesn't charge--all because of a blown bulb--I could be wrong of course but worth checking out.
