Hi mike..

the Larkhill side now has a few Byeway markers up for the main trails right across to the Chewton Triangle - Mud city and german village is good to "if you can find it" amongst the tree`s.

The East side still has no signs but last weekend it was very dry allover the plain and dusty too, even the pig pen run across from stonehenge was safe for novices..

I`m off this weekend , sore back from the off and mending punctures etc so all that go have a good one...and dont forget the pics.

quite a few Quads about so watch out as they aint going slow  but sure nothing Herman cant deal with

Tramp - thanks for the heads up. I've seen some reports about the BOAT markers that are going up. No excuses now for us locals getting lost

The other day I rode round the track that runs down the east side in the Larkhill impact area - its a great road for us numpties!

You are right about it being dry on the Plain at the moment - hope to go & have a little sniff around a some point over the weekend :)

Hey Orlando, good that you can make it

Right, at the moment, the team list looks like:

Mr Free Market
Herman + friend
Domsday
Bumblebeemer
Orlando Orange

If anyone one else is coming along, speak now!

The weather for Saturday is currently forecast to be sunny spells & 17-18 degrees. That means it is bound to rain!

I took the Landie from Warminster to the Casterley Vedette along the northern perimeter road, yesterday afternoon & the pistes are pretty dry (as you would expect). There is some light rain forecast for Wednesday afternoon but with a lil luck, we should have excellent riding conditions

Does anyone have satnav/copies of Tramp’s waypoints? I will get the map out this evening & have a have a think about the route – I’m completely open to suggestions

I suggest we RV at Countess Services at 0930 on Saturday morning with a view to moving off at 10. I hope that suits everyone
