Salisbury Plain Pre xmas run

Post by zimtim »

Ok so I have a pass to go and have a play.
Sunday 3/12 meet at countess services Amesbury 10_10.30 go and get muddy till late afternoon.
Anyone interested I have a few routes and tracks and will probably rob a few others.

Those of you who have ridden with me before should know that you will need your 3 shredded wheat before hand as my black bitch likes the odd mid ride nap.

just out of interest .. do you keep to the gravel trails, and hard-packed stuff?

the reason I ask is that when I went with the sw trf to the plains .. they veered off onto deeply rutted soft muddy trails

We will be doing some rutted stuff but will be big bike friendly.

I'm sure some of you chappies are really hippos 8-)

No .. it's just that I got stuck in a 10 foot rut .. (well ok it was only 3 foot on the other side) And my TTR 600 din like it :(
Too cold for me probably anyway :)

I always seem to miss this one but will get round to joining you guys at some point.
Are you all aware of the the Yuletide Rally, it's the same weekend! Devon John runs this one and the Stew is worth the trip apparently.

Hi.
I'd be keen.
Happy to help out picking your bike back up mate...as long as you're happy to reciprocate!
