Last year was hard going . Snow from Frankfurt onwards. But year before was easy on the autobahn and I didn't mind the mood as was on a combination. Hopefully a dry cold this year.

Was it wet then? All I remember is it being hilarious :D

It was certainly hilarious, especially when an unknown German gave you a carrier bag full of fireworks to let off at random.

I'll go back at some point if only to see if the group from Frankfurt we used to share beer and firewood with are still camping in the same place because they were brilliant company and had that lunatic Croatian with them who wanted to slit the throat of anyone who pissed him off. I was always glad when he said we were his friends and offered alcohol because I didn't want to be his enemy :pinch:

Hi Ainzy so finally met you just as we were leaving, I couldn't believe how quick the snow came down and the conditions got quite interesting, I had a Belgium guy fall off in front of me then stopped to help then struggled to get going again only to get pulled over by the police and get breathalysed! Oh well was a great experience, I'm going to the Altes Elefantentreffen tomorrow :)
