3rd one down - that's my Katy!

It was heaving wasn't it? Only downside, twats on quads and scooters - morons.

I think at 23 I'm getting too old and grumpy for places like this. Was cool seeing all the bikes together but was far far too packed for my liking. Anyone see my black 950 ADV with the luggage on?

First photo looks like the dick pub on the 127 I didnt go to day had work last night & tonight.
They was asking for marshalls (RBLR about the 3rd time I have missed it, good little ride gets a bit boring after a while like all the other rides, but for a good cause so worth doing it, I have just found in the past a number think they are a number 46

We are the Pilgrims, master; we shall go Always a little further: it may be Beyond that last blue mountain barred with snow, Across that angry or that glimmering sea.

That looks and sounds like my idea of hell; Park Royal to Southend - via the A127 - 'Shaking down' with loads of bikers (scooterists and quod'ers, who are all twats and morons, natch).

Thank God, I opted for Easter in the Ardennes. Empty roads, good (decent price) hotel, the owner of which didn't tip paint stripper over the bikes and nobody nicked them - which suggests it was even biker friendly. One morning of sleety snow, mixed with a bit of rain and temperatures that otherwise hovered between 1c and 5c (which no doubt kept the bikers indoors) for the four full days of the holiday. No twats, nor morons, which was a bonus, helped of course that I'd actually chosen who to spend my time with, not just jumped deep into the potential gene pool of Essex and NW London.

I can only suggest it (or something similar) to you for Easter 2016, which - according to my diary of significant religious feasts - is in late March.... Watching the weather forecast and dressing reasonably appropriately, is a good tip.

PS "But it's all for charity, ain't it". Stick £10 into whatever charity collection tin you like, then go and do something else. It requires effort; yes but it's often worth it. Being a motorcyclist - or even a biker - is all about being an individual, or so we are often told *. Don't follow the herd along the North Circular.

* or even pilgrims, forever crossing one more snow capped mountain peak or glimmering sea. At least according to the bod's wordy and worthy banner signature above. I'm not sure how the tidal estuary mud at Southend or the flat (other than the odd flyover) of the A406 quite meet those lofty aspirations, but you never know.
