Deposit sent for 4 people (Craig, Ashley & Stan) in the one group under Gemily with one eight man cabin please.

We will be catching the ferry on Friday to Dublin and plan on finding some nice roads to the venue. If anyone has any suggestions to a good route to the venue let me know (towns, cafes or roads).

Hello Gemily. Unfortunatly the area of Ireland between Dublin & Fermanagh is unfamiliar to me so cannot be of assistance in recommending roads cafe's etc. Hopefully someone else from over here might be able to advise.
We are still working on the Saturday all day ride out & hopefully it will tick a few of the boxes for your group.

Your best bet in terms of coming from the ferry port is to take the M! tunnel out of the port. That brings you to the M50 [the Irish version of the M25] but its the best way round. Tunnel is tolled €3 outward after I think 10am and well worth it.

If you are looking to exit Dublin to Enniskillen fast M50 west to pick up the N3 [Navan Kells Cavan]. You could take west side of Lough Erne or East side depending on what the Saturday ride out looks like.

You could also go by way of N2 toward Carrickmacross and east side of Lough Erne to Enniskillen.

If you want a diversion you could go up M!, when you meet the Drogheda/Boyne exit and take lunch at the Newgrange megalith and go see it. You will meet a €1 toll on the M1. From Newgrange you can head west a small bit and puck up the N2 or go further and pick up the N3.

Roads are not great so don't expect to make great speed and my advice is hit Enniskillen not too late. Given roads I would be thinking at least 3 hours ride time, more likely 3 1/2 without stops/fuel/food.

Folks

I will be confirming the booking with the venue for the attendees who have kindly paid their deposits, over the next week or so, to outline how many chalets etc we require.

After this point, I cannot guarantee that unreserved chalets will be still be made available for us after that, as it is a very popular site.

Can't see any issues with those wanting to book camping though.

So, if you're thinking about joining us in a chalet, please forward deposits ASAP, as outlined in the first few post at the start of this thread to secure your accommodation.

Thanks

Hey guys good to see you's down my way for this meet. I have no bike at the moment so cant really go, however happy to help if you need anything from someone local.

There are 2 pre made routes for bikes in the area, they take in a load of interesting points, details including GPS routes etc can be found at https://offthebeatentracknw.com/ but there are a load of other points I can maybe propose if they are of any interest.

Enjoy!
Currently an F650GS, DR350 and RV125 in the family stable.

Hello Dmac,

Have heard of that link before & had a look at it - we covered some of the routes on previous Rally Ride Outs & another part of it will be covered on our way back from Donegal (Time permitting) on this year's ride out. It is also our intention to cover the Sligo/Letrim area for the 2021 Rally.

Thanks for your offer - shame you are bikeless at the moment - maybe you will be able to pop into the Share Centre over the weekend to say hello?
