Dave Cooper modular motorbike trailer for sale. This trailer converts to a one and a two bike trailer, and when full dismantled, will fit in the boot of a car.
I've owned this for over a year and it has had a lot of use including bringing my KTM from Spain to the UK last month. I replaced the wheel bearings yesterday, tyres have 2-3mm of tread but new ones are just £18 each. There is a light board included.
As you can see from the photos, part of the trailer is black, part of it is grey. The reason for this is that if you only assemble the black parts, it becomes a one bike trailer. If you use the black and grey parts, it becomes the two bike trailer you see in the photos.
The new Dave Cooper trailers don't dismantle as small as this one, or convert between a 1 and a 2 bike trailer, and they cost £420. I don't know what this is worth, but I want to offer it to you guys before it goes on Marketplace and eBay. Delivery available, contact me for a price.
Make me a sensible offer.

Re: Dave Cooper modular motorbike trailer
I've no idea, it doesn't have anything stamped on it. I've had two KTM 640's on it without any problems.

Re: Dave Cooper modular motorbike trailer
Just for info, the max gross weight for an unbraked trailer is 750kg
Re: [SOLD] Dave Cooper modular motorbike trailer
Thanks. Am I right to presume that is the maximum legal limit for an unbraked trailer, as opposed to the design weight which may be considerably less?

Yes that's correct, I have a single bike version of the Dave Cooper trailer and they had two different rating models .
Some good info on https://www.parkers.co.uk/company-cars/2013/towing/

Re: [SOLD] Dave Cooper modular motorbike trailer
I found the stamped weight limits when handing it over to its new owner today, in single bike form, its ML (max load) was 350kg, and in two bike form the ML was 500kg.
