Spring cleaning during this strange time. I've dug out a selection of laptops in various states (Some are damaged) but I am sure I could make a few working, cosmetically decent ones. Have a look at my post history for some of the Dell E5540 (15 inch) , Dell E5440 (14 inch) laptops I've sold in the past. If there's anything that you're after just let me know and I will see if I can build one up for you. It'll come with 4 or 8 GB RAM, all Intel Core i5 CPUs (4th Gen or newer) and either 320 or 500GB Hard drives. It'll also come with a legit installed version of Windows 10. I can confirm once you're interested and send photos etc.

I've also found a bunch of Android phones (and a Nokia Windows phone). If anyone is interested let me know and I'll turn them on and check if they're unlocked. Sorry, they all look the same to me, but there's a Samsung, a Motorola x 2, a couple of Nokia's. The two old Nokia's, one is still boxed and the other is my spare travel phone, they have about 20 days battery life!

I'm sure I can sort something later once finished in the garden. Any preference to 14 or 15 inch screen? (The 14 inch are 720p and the 15 inch are full HD I seem to recall).

Sounds like a good idea, as I’m looking for something basic to run both mapping software ie: basecamp/mapsource and vehicle diagnostic programs such as VCDS. Windows OS is the preferred system for these. I have a huge amount of external storage so I only need the internal HD for the OS and programming. Message me with what you have that meets my needs

Slightly off topic:
I have my old desktop computer for MS office etc, albeit it’s OS Win10 (1803?) needs updating to the latest version (1903?) but as many times as I try to do the install it screws up when it hits 60% during the multiple restart bit, then restores back to the previous OS
I’ve fragged it, unplugged ext HD’s, disabled AV etc. If I can’t get it to work I’m probably gonna do a fresh install

Just a quick update. I think that's almost a dozen laptops I'm going through and building, updating etc, they're all ready. Oddly enough I think the two problems I am having are cardboard boxes for packing (Apart from one of you who are local and we'll make a plan to meet up whilst begin socially responsible, distancing etc) and also i don't think i have enough power supplies. But ... leave it with me and you should all have a PM from me later tonight with your kit details.
