Eurohike Avon NO LONGER FOR SALE.

This was bought unseen ready for this years trips, but it’s too big as I travel alone and I move every day, so I need a smaller tent. It’s part of the package I got recently, none of which I can use, brilliant!!!

Recently purchased still packed and has never been unrolled. Peg and pole bags unopened.

It’s brand new, no tags but in as new condition. Some pictures online show some additional poles to allow the front to be a sun canopy, I can’t see those poles in the pack so I assume they are an extra that I don’t have.

This is for sale from Blacks and Milletts for over £150 so this is a bargain, yet still open to offers!!
I’m after £90 plus £10 for postage, Ono

Yep, I thought so. Have you had one of these, how long does it take to put up and take down? I need something that I can make and break in maybe 10 minutes, I think this is too big for that.

ive got a very similar tent,and after you've put it up a few times 10 mins is well doable.i like the space in it,and the annexe is great if its raining for making a brew or just sitting in.

Yes i have had one of these for a couple of years now and is a good tent.

lots of room inside and the front area is high enough to sit in on a proper chair.

It can be pitched as one but i prefer to split and do the outside first and takes about 15 mins that way.

I have the extra poles to do the canopy at the front cost about extra £10.00

the tent is the least room I would want in a tent .. any smaller would be too small .. it looks big but is quite small inside, as its got a v good porch ..
what I like ,,
. the main tent stays up on its own .. (tunnels collapse till u peg it out)
.. as its cross cross poles
.porch is so useful .. brew, boots, gear, rain shield.
. side entrance to porch (wind and rain)
.can sit up in it .. if not tall, anyway.
. dry and warm and venty ok
.strong in wind
.

not to like .. bulky, heavy
... but worth the effort of lugging.
small tents are a pain if not able to sit up

You know what, you have both convinced me to keep it and give it a season to see how I get on. It’s smaller and lighter than the Vango I used last year, but then I had a Triumph, Now I’ve got a delicate Ducati!!

Even more reason to keep it, Millets have just started a 50% off on Eurohike gear tonight!!! Same tent is now £75, maybe some other bargains on the Millets site.

mine was £50 I think, in a sale .. a couple yrs back
I forgot to mention .. the base upright flap is a good 4" high keeping mud and wet out, from the porch

Cheers for the info. I’ve got a rare weekend off and the girlfriend has her daughter coming so I can spend the weekend playing around with the camping gear to see how it all fits.
