Thanks Tom. That looks a bit more beefy than needed on a trail bike... but worth thinking about if I cant acquire an ugly stick.Sanqhar wrote: ↑Tue Jul 21, 2020 9:40 am find the right search term and you are away!

I've got one of those "beefy" ugly sticks, great design and works well but.......they are very heavy, to much for trails hence never used mine. You could always use a aluminium crutch, cut it down and put a hook or t piece...happy days and nice and light.

I’ve been thinking about re-using a walking stick (I work in a hospital, loads knocking about that will no longer be used for patients). Would be interested to know if others had successfully done this... photos would be great.chunky butt wrote: ↑Tue Jul 21, 2020 3:40 pm I've got one of those "beefy" ugly sticks, great design and works well but.......they are very heavy, to much for trails hence never used mine. If you'd kept up and ahead of the mighty 250 rallys someone might have seen it fall off.
