Thought I would post a proper picture of mine, this was taken before fitting the new luggage rack, new off road tyres and different handguards :-)

Hi macdee, the bike was purchased for fun, green lane riding :-) I have a gsa for longer trips and tours.

As for the rear grab handles they bolt to the rear subframe, it is a nut and bolt fitment, no threaded parts welded to the frame.

Cheers

Great to see some nice TT600's on here :)
I managed to find a Metal Mule rack for my 2004 TT600RE on Ebay, it was a pain to fit but seems solid enough and provides lots of grab rails for mates to drag me back out of the hedges and ditches!

Trouble with getting a rack is that you then need some luggage!
Without, nice nimble trail bike....

Hi macdee, the rack and pannier were separate 'used' finds some time apart, neither was cheap but a lot less than new. The Oxford tail pack I picked up for a tenner which I thought was a bargain and I didn't like the idea of a solid top box hitting me in the back when I fall off, which I will at some point!
