XTZ750 SOLD

Post by Shunt »

Hi All

After a test ride today on a 12gs, My Yamaha is looking for a new home. Kind off a Happy an sad day for me, Me and this bike has done a lot together. I`ve owned it over four years now.

Any way, Here she is

An older pic

It comes with the topbox and the Allit side cases, The ally boxes are`nt pristine, But they where perfectly water tight on my week in Wales last week.

The bikes had a fair bit of work done to it while I`ve owned it.
Besides the custom one off front fairing, Which does a great job of taking the wind blast off, I happily ride at 70 visor open in a Peaked lid. (I`m 6`)

This winter, The head was changed because the valve seats started to fail. Bores looked clean. No scoring

The brakes were fully serviced, Braided hoses on the front too (Feb-march time)
Along with a service, Which has always been done start of the season with me.

Rear end re-wired, Headlights rewired with a relay mod for dipped and main

New battery

Clutch overhauled recently too, Cable, Plates and springs, Baskets are barely marked.

Forks have been off and fully serviced recently too

Waterproof fuse box

Heated grips, Led indicators with a led flasher unit

Tyres are a Tkc front, Mitas E10 on the back, Good combination. Will scrape boots in the dry without pushing it.

Chain an Sprockets Ok too, (around 18 mths old)

Taxed till October

Will have a Full mot

V5 in my name at my address.

I`d like £1300 ovno for this iconic classic, I`m just outside Norwich in Norfolk. Kettles always on, There may even be a cold beer or two in the fridge B)

Any pictures just ask me and I`ll take them for you.

Any questions just ask, `Cos I`ve probably forgotten loads.

Looks like a good bike...

Why are you 'downgrading' to a R1200GS..?

wow a lot of bike (and history) for those beans, IMHO you could pass on the luggage in a separate deal and someone will still be getting a good deal.
Did I miss the miles?

Thanks, I'd rarther just sell complete. My Gs has luggage all ready. So I may as well send this on complete too. Help the next owner out kinda thing ;)

Sorry. Forgot the mileage. Clocks are showing 38 thou. Dunno how accurate they are. When I looked back online about it. It looks like its had about 3 sets of clocks in its time.

Just a cheeky bump to say, Tonight I`ve given it a check over before it goes in for Mot in the morning.
Also to add that the front sprocket hasnt been chewed or messed about with. Never given me any trouble, I use a nut and washer from a Fazer.
