When I was on the lookout for commuter, along the lines of a big thumper, I brought a Mk3 Aprilia pegaso, the last of the 5 valve engines and a wider frame. I've taken it on the lanes a few time, and its no plodder, I'm lucky enough to work the other side of some nice green lanes, so its 40 minutes commute on the road and 1 hour on the lanes back
There are a few about for not allot, just thought I would throw it in the mix as I'm really pleased with mine. It share the same engine as the F650 but gets a better mpg
