Just a short post to say thank you to those who nudged this one along. Sold the bike last night(got more than I advertised it for - hows that work then?).

At least I can say I owned two bikes for a short while!

Any tips on how to suggest to the good lady that a couple of grand needs to go on my new 800gs??

Took the 800gs out over the weekend, get it properly diry and loved every minute, just waiting on the crass bars and bash plate.

Tell her that Gok Wan would suggest a pair of white Touratech with red spoilers. That will excentuate the red on the bike..Tell her that you are getting intouch with your feminine side...(Usually works)

Loving the two suggestion so far, I think I may suggest I do the house work, wash her bike, car and windows for 3 months if she will let me have a couple of grand

Glad you sold it Darren, I usually order farkling gear and try to intercept it before Mrs Munster sees it and bolt it to the bike,get it dirty quickly then say it is standard fitment dear.
