Kriega exceptional service support

I dropped into the Kriega stand during the festival and had a chat with Dom regarding the equipment development. During the chat I mentioned the issue I had with fitting side bags onto my OS-32's. He straight away said there was an issue with early models and said he will send me a new set. This morning a new set arrived. Had them for 3 years, that I consider great service.

Twice they have made me extra long straps for the US-5 and only charged the basic price.
Arrived in rapid time as well.

I totally agree that Kriega has great customer service. I'm not sure if I've mentioned it here or somewhere else but here goes...

A couple of months ago, I was heading up to Norfolk for a weekend of camping and trail riding. Wanting to travel light, I had a dry bag strapped to the rear seat/rack containing my tent and sleeping bag. My clothing along with the cooking equipment was in my 10-year-old Kriega R30 which I had been given free by my old boss when he signed up for a subscription to Fast Bikes magazine.

Just as I was putting the R30 over my shoulders, the stitching of one shoulder strap gave way meaning that I had to quickly transfer everything to my new and untested OS32 soft panniers. All rather annoying but they did the job and I had a great weekend.

The following weekend, I was at my local bike shop, Orwell Motorcycles in Ipswich, who just happen to be a Kriega retailer, so I mentioned the problem and asked what they thought. I was just planning to have them repaired at the local dry cleaners but the guys at the bike shop suggested that I bring the bag in and they'd contact Kriega for me. So I did and they did... I popped in again the following weekend and was presented with a brand new Kriega R30! No charge, no quibble replacement.

Remember, the old bag was 10 years old and I got it free in the first place yet Kriega, a British company, replaced it with a brand new item without a second thought. You can't get better service than that.
