Re: exped synmatt?
I've had one for a few years now (The yellow one). I'm a terrible sleeper when it comes to camping but I find it good. If I had a choice I would go for the wider model if they do one.
It packs up very small, perhaps just taller than a coke can. Mine needs something to inflate it, and you can use the Exped Pillow for this, so it doubles up for its uses. The pillow goes down to about the size of a coke can too. I'd get another if this one ever had issues.

This is very interesting information. Thank for sharing. For sure your suggestions will help me with
Re: exped synmatt?
I’ve got a very basic exped, which is fine it packs up far smaller than a thermarest, I also occasionally nick my wife’s down filled one which is like sleeping on a luxury mattress. They are both a bit more fiddly and time consuming to pump up and fold up,than thermarest but in my opinion are well worth it.
Cheers
