Have to admit Look what we found Chill Con Carne and a boil in the bag rice. Add the Chill to the pan of boiling water with a small slit in the top and simmer for 10 minutes the add the rice and simmer of another 10 minutes till rice is cooked open chill pouch stir drain rice and add to the pouch stir and eat. No dishes method a few drops of Tabasco sauce to improve spice .
Morrison's are doing the LWF Range for a £1.00 rice can be picked up for 50p per pack (boil in the bag type)
Makes a tasty evening meal.
Can also use a plate to be posh.
So what's in your pot ?

You can bulk it out with cannelini beans or mixed beans as well. I also take a few army ration packs as they are pretty good these days and the precooked rice only takes a couple of minutes to warm up in boiling water(in the sachets) I generally buy bread, tomatoes, cheese and ham, olives etc from local shops and these meals are a standby or when we start to run short of money. The Coleman multi fuel stoves are fantastic for cooking on.

I tend to cook fresh food I buy at the end of the day.
I does appear to be mostly sausages actually. I keep some ramen for when there is no other option.

And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

Someone at the ABR Festival mentioned the precooked rice will try it out next time.frenchy3 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 23, 2018 8:36 pmYou can bulk it out with cannelini beans or mixed beans as well. The Coleman is a good stove takes a bit of adjusting to get a low simmer but doable.

Lived on ‘Look What We Found’ for 10 days up to the Nordkapp and back a couple of years ago. Simple easy to prepare and tasty. Just add easy cook rice or pasta. Can’t go wrong. Thanks for the tip re the £1 a bag. Nearly £4 a bag in my local Cost Cutter.

Hi Brenhdan
All three look very tasty and i agree if you can buy fresh or support local business its the way to go i like to carry a few ready meals with rice , pasta or noodles for the times you get to a campsite late and all on offer is cardboard pizza or A la carte rip off.
I see you also like to cook and eat with the vin rouge close by.

Nothing much.
I prefer a local restaurant, pig myself, and get pleasantly pissed.
