Just bought one of these...

...for £72. From Millets.

Not the lightest, but doable on a motorcycle. Have a Slumit Cub II and love it, but no porch/vestibule is a pain for me....we'll see how this little fella goes...not the end of the world if I don't like it.

That's a nice tent and as you say the porch is essential. I wouldn't be without one. I have a tent similar in size to hat and love it.

What's the pack weight?

looks good 8-)

I just checked the weight of 2 of my tents (being a true biker I have several)

Vango tempest200 = 3 kg ....(smaller 2-man)

eurohike avon dlx = 7.5 kg ....(larger 3-man) ....... FFS

.. [[the avon is supposed to be 5.5 kg !!!!!! .. WTF ?

.. [[he tempest is supposed to be 2.7kg (not far off.. > actually is 2.9kg)
https://www.millets.co.uk/tents-camping ... -tent.html

so ... check the weight of ya tent !!

the avon was ideal for the Malvern rally ... but just too big and heavy for touring, imo

How big's yer head

I bought a Coleman Tatra for last year which is a nice tent with a porch which is what I wanted. However the porch/side entrance is a real pain to get in and out. So I'm looking at getting a Monviso which is the same but with a front entrance. Doesn't seem to be in their range any more but it's still available.
