For me there are 2 types of holiday:

1 - Camping while on a bike trip.
2 - Having a camping holiday on a motorbike.

No1 is usually a short trip, riding every day - up at 7am, breakfast, packed and on the road for 9am. So pack very light.
No2 is usually 3-5 weeks with stays at each campsite btw 1 and 7 days. For this we take as much stuff as we want to camp in luxury.

Don't forget to enjoy you're mistakes - we did some ridiculus things in the early days and still laugh about them.

Have fun.

I also take my son. He carries all the things I don't need to take like cooking materials, tent, extra flysheet etc. :)

I`ve got one of these to pee in, no staggering outside the tent in the middle of the night for me! http://www.coleparmer.co.uk/Product/The ... Z-06047-60

I also have wrapped some 2 inch duck tape around it so save carrying a roll of that :)

"an old lenor bottle is free"

An old Comfort bottle is free, and appropriately named.
