I've got one similar to that, but only £9.99, by Course.
Really good, but, as you say, looks a bit weird, but plenty of room, waterproof, can act as a back protector as quite rigid but very lightweight ..... main `fault` is it sticks out a bit far and you keep rubbing your back up against all sorts of things ... my case comes up next week lol.

I have the 9-99 one too--great value for casual shopping, waterproofs and the like on the road. My only criticism is that the belly strap was too short over traditional HD jackets so had to find my stock of spare straps and the waxed cotton saddle thread and add in an extension piece or two. I have the Kriega for proper offroad and carrying a water bladder etc--which as we all know is very comfortable, but pricey.
