Poor quality BMW gloves

Bought these GS Pro's ? in a Motorad shop closure sale a few years ago half price but still a few quid they appear good quality and I presume they are genuine and official though of course made in China but they have not had a great deal of use as I only use them on trail rides. Compared to Heine Gerike gloves that I have used for years and years in the past very poor I would say.
Only the fingers of both gloves stitching failing, the rest of em appears in good order, make of it what you will.

Yes Mr Dibbs, nice Gloves like them, a Bit warm for Southern Europe in Mid Summer perhaps but good for UK stretching to 3 season perhaps, look like they would take a bit of friction too, disappointed that they they are failing so early in their lives. Got some new Revit ones to try next aswell as some Alpine Star supermoto style on the go. The fingers have been on many Welsh field gates and just to keep it balanced a few English ones too I will leave the rest to your imagination.

I have 3 pairs of BMW gloves - I struggle with size and the BMW fit nicely.
I’ve had my winter pair for years and still in good condition.
The mid season gloves I’ve had for around 6 years, still look fine but not waterproof in heavy rain anymore.
The summer gloves are great.

My wife had a pair of mid season gloves for 3 years, then they split. She has recently bought top of the range Rukker and loves them. I hope they last, she paid a lot of money for them.

I hope BMW don’t go the way of other bike clothing manufacturers and slowly drop their standards. Except Revit - they seemed to have upped their game - and prices

to be honest they look "well used". I have a pair of BMW middlweight road gloves and they are still good after 30 years or so. I do treat my gloves to leather care type products to keep them supple and help with the waterproofing. To be honest offroad I use fabric/carbon generic types that are cheap as chips and a bit stretchy--and they last well enough. They are cheap enough to keep buying new pairs when they get a bit worn--and I've never had a problem with lack of protection on the palms, knuckles and fingers. My take is that I would rather my hands get a bit wet but still be able to have all the flexibility , feel and grip of artificial fabrics.

I have a pair of those. At a guess I've done 30,000 miles in then. They're getting tatty but the stitching is fine.

I have the revit gloves but still not sure about the thick rubber palm protector it seems to get in the way a bit when you are holding the bars! They might wear and loosen up a bit hopefully!

The pics are not really indicative of their normal use, pics were taken after a long day out including the Strata Florida mixed with riding with 6 enduro's and 2 701's so you can picture the dust after the splashing about, me bike and everything else was in shit state. The Gloves have done not a lot compared to others I have owned but have been used as trail gloves and have admitidly moved the odd stone, used like any others really. I choose them as a sale item and as they appeared to have good leather coverage in the event of a road spill. Maybe I was unlucky with a shit pair, or perhaps the quality has slipped obviously make your own judgements. Here is a pic, I had little time as the pace was relatively hot for me to take pics myself, otherwise Mr Cac above probably will disbeleive that to be fact as well.
