What do you guys use when out and about? I had an off on saturday and althoough my trousers have D3O armour in the knee
I suspect that when I went down, the armour was not aligned with the part of my knee that impacted the ground.
So a trip to A&E later leaving with crutches awaiting further diagnosis, I thought Knee Pads/ armour/ braces.
THere is a bwildering amount out there in many price ranges. Unfortunately living where I live, there is little to no chance of
finding this sort of thing in the shops (2).
So what do you use? What would you recommend?
I sort of have my eye on LEATT 3DF 6.0, any comments?

Re: Knee Protection
Acerbis impact evo.....just bought my second pair. First ones lasted 10years, only the elastic was starting to give up.
Re: Knee Protection
Those look chunky The Acerbis X-Strong also showed up and they look good.
Just wondering how these fit with boots as I have Gaerne Enduro boots which are quite high.
The knee guards would go inside the boot and be held even better in place?
It is a pain not being able to try stuff on

Re: Knee Protection
Mine are 'O'Neil Pumpgun' - which i only bought because they sounded cool.
They get deployed rather a lot by me and have stood the test of time well. Comfortable too, and your boot just goes over the top of the lowest part. If you also use long sealskinz socks they keep it all firmly in place too.
Acerbis make some called 'Gorilla' which sounds fun, and Knox make 'Guerrila'. So you may need Angela Rippon to help decide between those two.
Leatt stuff is excellent on the whole. I'm happy with their body protector, which has also had work to do recently...

Re: Knee Protection
I'm a gentle green laner, as such I don't need or feel the urge for the enduro look. I wear forcefield knee tubes (others are available) both on & off road, they're reasonably comfortable to wear all day & I have no problem walking around with them on either. Only issue my mx boots can interfere slightly
With enough profanity, you can accomplish anything
