I too have the Oxford Mondial Jacket (and Trousers). I've been commuting in the Jacket & Trousers since November, so far so good. I just wear a polo shirt under the jacket, when it gets really cold I put the liner back in Only Joking. I've noticed the draft too (as I call it) at the front of the jacket. However I have a Keis heated gilet, but no need to turn the heat on, I haven't tried it with a fleece or anything else yet, but I suppose any would do the job. (weather still tropical oooopnorf) so not used the Keis gilet in anger yet.

Another note: I had a problem with one of the zips on the sleeve (basically I broke it) but fair play to Infinity & Oxford they replaced the Jacket, no questions asked and all within a week, so big thumbs up to those guys.

Mine is not EDZ, it is a walking/hiking brand but is almost identical to a mates EDZ one.

Think it cost me about £17 online, sorry can't remember the make.

Worth an online search.

More an anecdote than any use other than agreeing that zips are not your friend.
I once bought a pack of four microfibre cloths and stuffed them down my jacket front.
Waaay more insulation than a fleece. I was in meltdown bt the time I had done the 15 miles home.

merino base layer, then a down jacket (non quilted sleeves), then a heated vest ready to plug in (keiss), and then the normal jacket--I have Frank Thomas jacket in which the quilted liner actually works unlike lots of other more expensive brands. The secret is lots of layers and a jacket that still allows you to move! If it gets really wet and cold then I throw on the XXL Goretex--RAF blue jacket and German army salopettes.
