Wibo, I am about to buy some Crossfire 2 boots, but am undecided on the srs or conventional sole.
I see you got a good many years out of your old ones that presumably had a conventional sole, I like the replaceable sole idea, but am a little worried about the strength of the bit that the sole attaches to, this appears to be glued to the upper with no stitching, how much use have you had out of your new pair and do you think they will last as long as the old stuff?, no point having a replaceable sole if the bit it attaches to is weak.
As it would not be difficult to get a new sole done at a cobblers on a conventional pair, I am not sure of the advantage apart from being able to change sole type easily which would be a plus as long as they actually stand up as well..undecided I am

Re: Sidi Crossfire Motocross Boots.
I’ve had some Crossfire2 SRS for about a year. Using the trial sole atm.
No issues yet, have been used hard, many soakings in rivers, bogs etc. Been pressure washed, washed out inside many times.
No sign of deterioration yet.
My original crossfire’s lasted well too.

Re: Sidi Crossfire Motocross Boots.
Had my SRS 2's for about 8 months. Fitted the walking boot style sole when I bought them. Apart from a mysterious random leak on the left one they're excellent. Sometimes I can be paddling in deepish water and stay dry. Occasionally not! Anyway they get a day on the trails most weeks plus nearly three weeks in September in the Pyrenees. Comfortable day on day. No sole issues. Good.
Just along for the ride.

Cheers Both, I think I'll go for it and get the SRS type, it will be good to be able to fit the grippier sole for all those times I need to pick the bike up on a snotty hillside
Re: Sidi Crossfire Motocross Boots.
does anyone else find these boots to be really narrow? ive tried them on in stores a couple of times and can barely get my foot in them even going up a size,i don"t have wide fitting feet.

Re: Sidi Crossfire Motocross Boots.
I have quite wide feet. I went up a size from normal and they're fine.

Re: Sidi Crossfire Motocross Boots.
Just got sent a pair (srs) from Mad 4 Motocross (who I can highly reccomend, extremely helpfull and quick), I went a half size up from my normal shoe size and it was nowhere near enough, Italians must have feet like ballerinas, anyway sent back and will go up another size.
