Anyone using SW motech crash bars on a Africa twin crf 1000.
Are they any good, can the fairings be removed with the bars fitted.

Have a look a Heed crash bars.i have tested them on 3 different bikes and they work.

+1 for the Heed crash bars. I have them on my G650. Good fit, solid. Have useful (if expensive) bag options too.

Used sw motech bars on my 650 versys and crash tested them took a hell of a whack and no engine damage

Using heed on the 990 adv and they are well made fit great and look good

A mate of mine has the heed crash bars on his AT, I remember trying to talk him into the outback, but he went for the budget friendly heed, can honestly say very impressed with the quality of them. Look a really good strong bit of kit.
