Saddlecraft - South Tyneside

Post by midlife »

Hi Guys

I am wanting to get my seat re-modelled and have been in contact with Tony Archer and others, however living in the NE I saw that Saddlecraft are in South Shields. I visited their website and have tried to call several times this week without getting an answer - does any one know if they are still in business and if so how do they compare to the other guys?
Many thanks
Rob

Hi there,
I have tried calling both numbers and got no reply, visited the premises today and they were all closed up. maybe on holidays but you would think that they may have left a message to say so.....Mmmm I dont want to think ill of any business but my confidence is not at its highest.. I think Mr Archer is going to get my business which is a pity as I would like to support a local business.

Hi,
I called Saddlecraft a couple of days ago no problem and visited them to today, they were open.

Hope to get saddle remodelled for my g650gs next week, see how it goes.

I'm new to adventure type bike, only had the bike a few days, and the only problem I have is that I don't seem to fit the seat, or am I the wrong shape, this has been a problem with most of my bikes, apart from the Thunderbird 1600.

Regards
John.

I have attempted to recover my seat but i was unable to do it as my staple gun its not strong enough to pierce the seat pan , so i have decided to try to find someone here in north east to do it for me , this seems impossible too as the saddlecraft are not answearing the phone and DP leathers site is down and i am unable to contact him ( facebook profile was quiet for months now too ) , is there anyone else who can do it ? This is so frustrating :(
