BMW GS Driveshaft Recall

Whilst my 2019 R1250GSA was in for service yesterday, they performed the necessary check on the driveshaft as part of the recall campaign. The driveshaft failed the test and was replaced FOC. My GS has done 25k. They told me 1 in 3 fail the test at the moment, and any bike with more than 31k on the clock gets a new shaft anyway.
