Some bikes look better with 'the benefit of historic hindsight' and that's one of them.

Very true. And also true of cars. The Jaguar XK8 1996 to 2006, for example...much better to look at now than then, imho

I'm really not a 'car guy'...my MkII Focus suits me well, but I do like the look of that Jag!

That ST4S that diggermanbob posted is lovely 8-) .

This is another Ducati that I think has got better with age...the 999, which was a hard act to follow after the drop-dead gorgeous 916...but it's looks have grown on me over the years whenever I see one (which is rarely)...

Same here. My mate bought one the first year, never thought that much of it really but quite like them now. He left in in my garage when he went on holiday once (with the keys) and it pissed down for a fortnight Image
