XSR900
I really like the look of the revamped XSR900, looks straight out of the 80's Deltabox era. I've heard good reports of the MT09/Tracer engine and handling, so the XSR will I suspect be a cracker. And that classic blue/yellow paint.... Looks just like a proper roadster should I can see it relishing in a good thrashing around the Alps, something I haven't done for a while.

Re: XSR900
As you say, Mark, it's very deltabox isn't it? Looks like an FZR1000Exup that's been crashed and streetfightered.
Re: XSR900
Nice colour scheme and plenty of grunt available but probably still a bit heavy due to cost constraints. I have the XSR700 and to be honest it's surprisingly quick up to the ton at which point I struggle to hang on, suspension is the weak point on the 700, in my opinion, not sure if the 900 is better on the worsening road surfaces in the UK.

Re: XSR900
...I've got the Tracer 900 (mark 2) which has a stonking engine and the same one as in the XSR900. The general consensus is that they are set up at the factory for a 'light' rider and a bit of tweaking helps the suspension a lot. I firmed up the front end on mine and it made a huge difference. The engine for the new models has been enlarged from 847cc to 890cc...so should be even more stonking .onslowe wrote: ↑Fri Nov 12, 2021 8:49 am Nice colour scheme and plenty of grunt available but probably still a bit heavy due to cost constraints.
