redbikejohn wrote: Sat Oct 30, 2021 11:53 am It would make sense to get another 660 as I have panniers etc and other bits I stripped of the bike before it went. But I've wanted a T700 now for quite some time, I just couldn't get ride of the Z while it was still going so well! I was waiting for the engine to give out or gearbox but it didn't use oil and still did great mpg. The frame had rotted in the front from using it in 11 years of winters though 😳.
Just been bidding on a rally seat for a 700 on ebay lol 😆 best buy a bike!
You dont have any engine bars for the XT then do you? ;) ...
Sorry, no. I did but they got scratches on so left them on the bike to get replaced but it got scrapped.

I'd be interested in the standard screen if available.

I've still got my 660Z but purchased an mt07 to see what this cp2 engine is like before considering the t7.

Sorry to hear about your accident.
Have you tried the t7 and crf300 at all? My thoughts are currently between these 2 for my next bike. I really fancied the 300 but from what I'm reading they don't seem to have a lot of go . Unfortunately test rides are difficult to get on them as they are in such short supply. I think the waiting list is up to about next May now!
The t7 has a great motor but it's a big heavy bike for serious off road seems to be the general opinion.

Don’t discount the 900 CP3 engine Yamaha’s RBJ. Mark 2 is better/smother than the Mark 1 and there are some good deals on them. No off road ability though and 17 inch front wheels on all of them. Almost old sportsbike fast up to, say, 90 mph. They have a peach of an engine 8-) .

Definitely selling. New they are listed as £569 for both rims and spokes.
Make me an offer, cos I'm sure that would be too rich for you 😆.
Rear hub is listed at £205.
