If you've not ridden an Enfield 650, you should.
Not the fastest bike in the world, but very charming. It's really like an early 1970s Brit 650 but with 6 gears, no vibration, an electric start and better brakes.
I keep thinking I should get one, but I've got 4 bikes (which is enough) and don't want to get rid of any of them just yet.

My cousin has one of the new 650s, it's very nice and looks well put together.

Just curious, is the bike in the photo a production model or a custom?

If it’s a production bike, looks great, my only criticism is the dodgy looking number plate mount!

I find the 650 increasingly appealing. Called into my local bike shop in Canterbury yesterday to buy a cargo net and ended up ogling the 650's, in particular the Continental which is nicely detailed with high clip-on 'bars and semi-rearsets. Love the style of the bike in OP's post, too.

I think most RE dealers still have demos. It's one of those bikes that won't appeal to everyone because it's basically an old-fashioned bike without the problems of old-fashioned bikes.
I actually like the absence of electronics, and its understatedness. It doesn't try too hard, and you don't have to.

we took aday out on some hired intercepters and overall i was impressed with it ..quite enjoyable bike ...i understand that enfield are not intending to make a 650 himalayan ...and thats a shame it would be a pretty capable touring bike /gravel runner and the price is super competative ... i really do think if they did a 650 himmy id be quite happy to buy one as tourer ... decent engine good weather protection 5.5 price point
i found the himmy quite endering but pretty boring but the 650engine is a pretty nice unit dunno but a himmy gt would be a nice bike imho

Precisely why I'm liking it. A proper motorcycle in both looks and the absence of unnecessary electronic gizmos. And I love most things Indian as well.... a wonderful place. Where else do you still see a load of Austin Ambassadors and Leyland trucks?
