Whilst I agree with you Minky that CCM seem to have developed a business model that works for them, I am not sure about the market for adventure bikes. My Himalayan is everything that the GP450 promised and failed to deliver, despite my GP costing twice as much. CCM probably went for the wrong choice of engine as the Himalayan is selling by the truck load with a much lower power output. Ultimately it was the poor finish, cost cutting and finally awful customer service that let CCM down. The new ones look great, which must be some consolation when you are waiting for the tow truck.

Is there a picture of it before it was destroyed in the workshop fire?

looks like a copy of a Chinese 125/250--the irony!--this hipster thing really ought to die now--its about as practical as a chocolate teapot, but not so pretty.

After this and the CCM Spitfire, Alan Clews must be spinning in his grave.

CCM = Clews Competition Machines.

A legacy of brutal, big bore moto x bikes with riders to match, watered down to these dreadful toys. :? :roll:

A small volume manufacturer trying to survive by building bikes that they believe enough customers want. It's good to see different designs offering something that Honda/BMW etc are not.
Open your eyes and you see what is in front of you, open your mind and you see a bigger picture but open your heart and you see a whole new World.
