There's just something simply beautiful and iconic about those much older shape/design Beemer flat twins.

a very nice 90s, with a heinrich petrol tank , i had well over 300 mile range when i had one fitted to my 80/7

Now that is nice--sooooo much better than chopping bits off. BMW liked putting things under the tank--the one into two throttle and choke cable set ups--difficult to get right--and get neglected on lube etc
