No. Too tall, tank looks too small, looks top heavy and it’s too Honda for me. If I were taller and a better off-road rider I might, but then there are a lot of other tall bikes out there. It would also need a fair bit spent on it to make it a travel bike for me. Still I am sure Honda have done their market research and the yanks will buy them in droves.

I have the smaller version

My main trail & dirt bike

I have had KTM & the latest Yamaha reverse engine WR (all with electric start)

But I prefer the old kickstart XR400R (still lighter with fuel than the CRF 450L and a CRF 250/300L Image)

Going to spend a bit on it ....this Spring

New suspension work (Race Tech springs & revalve on forks & shock)....Should perk up the chassis & handling

Newly rebuilt spare 21/18 dirt wheels with Excel rims

I was in California in 2018, saw a big Harley sign from the highway and went for a look.
It was a Harley and a Honda dealer, huge place with many many bikes to drool over.
But I was stunned to see some of these on display, seems the yanks like them.
Can’t remember the price, but low enough to get my interest.

They really look great, don't they? If you asked me to draw a picture of how a general purpose dirt bike should look, it's the XRs I would sketch. If I could draw, that is....

I would sooner kickstart a bike, beats a flat battery, knackered solenoid or a busted starter motor

Kickstart is just as easy
