Due to lighter flow, the maxi pad is now a mini-pad

I decided (after a week!) that the Forza 300 was just too heavy and I didn’t need the extra power. So I traded it in for a Honda Forza 125. It’s about 40kg lighter than my 300 and has a cavernous underseat storage area.
So far in the 50 miles I did today it was returning about 130mpg which should give a tank range of 300 miles. Perfect for not having to fill up much!
Seems to handle ok. I’m heading down to a funeral on Wednesday so it’ll be a 300 mile trip over a couple of days which will give me a chance to really test it out.

Keep us up to date Chris, I'm about to put my Forza 300 back on the road in October for the winter but like you wonder if I really need the extra power for just bimbling about. So I'll be interested if you'll notice much difference in general use. The 40kg reduction sounds great too.
Also are you saying the 125 has more seat storage than the 300 ??? love the picture :o

The newer shape 125 and 300 has a slightly better under seat space, probably not much different but less of a step in the middle so you could fit a tent under there much more easily

I had a gilera runner 4nstroke 180 was ace even 2 up it was written off in Slovenia so bought a 200cc version still ace... Sold it for a 650cc translap... I do miss the comfy seat and twist and go... But man that front wheel was dangerous when wet roads on commute... Plus point 2 tesco bags of shopping fitted under seat..

Impressive economy. Why bother with electric with that level of mpg?

My issue with 125's was the struggle on big A roads and the like from the 12hp. Perfect in an urban environment though.

Must admit I’ve never had a problem with the A roads and even motorways. This scooter can cruise at 60mph so that’s plenty for me 👍

Its 14.7 bhp not 12 and good aerodynamics hence 60mph cruising . Hope you enjoy it and look forward to reading the adventures 8-)
